Up at 4.00am to try to catch some early morning mist. Low cloud at the cottage we were staying in - so we headed towards Malham. Rewarded by some nice light on the limestone pavement, where we shot a lone tree!
Wended our way back to the cottage for a "brunch" taking in some classic Yorkshire Dales landscape.
Last shot of the day; backlit by torch wood anemones.
Semi-retired, and now able to enjoy my hobby to the full. An involvement with the Western Counties Photographic Federation, where I edit their e-Newsletter on a monthly basis gives me a wide involvement with others who enjoy photography. Occasional trips away with a friend enables me to see and do things which were difficult when I worked full time! Retirement is great!!
